Daniel Gray has test driven well over 100 cars since launching MPGomatic.com in the summer of 2007. His innovative video and written reviews focus on fuel-efficiency, in-cabin technology, and real world performance. By driving with a light-footed approach over hundreds of miles, Daniel has been able to meet or beat the official mileage estimates on every car tested. He is currently working on a white paper based on his automotive findings and continues to produce video reports on alternative fuels and vehicles.
Over the years, Daniel has written twenty books on technology and Internet topics. He has been translated into more than a dozen languages. Daniel’s publishers have included McGraw-Hill, and imprints of Wiley, Prentice Hall and Thomson.
Daniel first picked up a video camera in 2008 and hasn’t put it down since. In addition to hundreds of published short form automotive reviews and reports, he is producing an independent documentary film on the launch of Rallycross in the United States. Principal filming is nearly complete. The project is slated enter post-production in the Fall of 2012. Daniel’s video segments and footage have appeared on CNN and ESPN. He has been featured on Fox News (Toledo!), and quoted in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times, as well as on National Public Radio.
